Lost Maples State Park

Lost Maples State Park is in Vanderpool, TX. This park contains a variety of trees, but it is famous for the bigtooth maples that change color in the fall. My wife and I woke up at 4:30am to climb to the top of the park and camp out for the sunrise. When we left the park at 1:30pm the line for entrance to the park was over a mile long.
